Windows and doors

Growing a window and door company into new areas

To grow a window and door company into a new area without wasting ad spend, start the new area on the ads that already sell, count every enquiry and sale by postcode, and raise its budget only once its cost of sale holds. When Nivoro Marketing added Glasgow to the Facebook ads it runs for Eco Glaze Scotland, a window installer, on 13 August 2026, 9 jobs worth £25,600 came from Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire postcodes, out of £108,340 sold from £8,148.47 of ads across the account, 21 June to 24 October 2026.

The method

How we open a new area

Four rules, in this order.

Start on the ads that already sell

The ads that win in one area run in the next one first. Winners win, so a new area starts on what has already sold.

Share the campaign until it sells

Until the new area has sales of its own, it sits in the campaign that already knows who buys. It gets a campaign of its own once it has the numbers to stand alone.

Every lead carries its postcode

A postcode question on the form puts each enquiry, and each sale, on its area's line, so the new area is judged on its own figures.

Raise it 10 to 30% at a time

Once the new area holds its cost of sale, its budget goes up 10 to 30% at a time, a couple of days apart. Never tripled in one move.

Adding Glasgow to Eco Glaze Scotland’s ads

Adding Glasgow to Eco Glaze Scotland’s ads

We went live for Eco Glaze Scotland on 21 June 2026 with one campaign at £15 a day around Dundee and Perth, and added Glasgow on 13 August.

We went live for Eco Glaze Scotland on 21 June 2026 with one campaign at £15 a day around Dundee and Perth, and added Glasgow on 13 August.

£108,340 sold from £8,148.47

All 26 sold jobs from our Facebook ads, 21 June to 24 October 2026, counted on Eco Glaze's own sales sheet.

9 jobs, £25,600

From Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire postcodes, where the ads started on 13 August 2026.

17 jobs, £82,740

From Dundee, Perth, Fife and Edinburgh postcodes.

Every sale on its postcode

The postcode question went on the lead form in June 2026, before Glasgow was added, so every sale above already sat on its area's line.

Branches

A new branch or showroom

A new branch or showroom is a new area with a building and a team in it, so it gets counted the same way: its own enquiries, its own sales and its own cost of sale, from its first week.

Our fractional CMO and marketing team is for UK window and door companies doing £10m to £50m a year. Running the ads that win in one branch or area across the rest comes with the Region and Group tiers, and launching new branches and showrooms comes with Group. Here’s what it costs.

The whole account is written up, figure by figure, in the Eco Glaze Scotland case study. Read next: cost of sale for window and door companies, and which ad made the sale.

Questions

Questions on new areas

Should a new area get its own campaign?

Not until it sells on its own. Until then it shares the campaign that already knows who buys.

How fast should we raise the ad budget in a new area?

10 to 30% at a time, a couple of days apart, once its cost of sale holds. If a step goes wrong, step back down.

How do we know which area a sale came from?

Ask for the postcode on the lead form. Every enquiry, and every order it turns into, then sits on its area's line.

What if we haven't got the fitters for a new area?

Then the fitters come before the ads. On our Group tier, recruitment ads for fitters run when capacity is the limit.
