Windows and doors
Which ad made the sale?
To track which marketing made each sale at a window and door company, tie every enquiry to the ad that brought it in, keep that tie in the CRM all the way to the signed order, and tell the ad platform which leads bought. At Eco Glaze Scotland, a window installer Nivoro Marketing runs Facebook ads for, every lead from the ads lands on a tab of its own in the sales sheet and is marked booked, quoted or sold, and since 8 October 2026 each of those marks goes back to Facebook. That sheet counted £108,340 of jobs sold from £8,148.47 of ads, 21 June to 24 October 2026.
£108,340 sold from £8,148.47
26 leads from our Facebook ads became sold jobs, 21 June to 24 October 2026.
£313.40 of ads behind each sale
That's £13.30 of sold work for every £1 of ads, on an average job of £4,166.92.
26 of 63 priced leads bought
Of the leads given a price, 26 of 63 bought, 41.3%, counting leads up to 20 October 2026.
Big jobs on their own line
8 of the 26 sold jobs started as enquiries for five or more windows, and those 8 sold for £49,150.
Judge it on money
Judge Facebook and Google together
A buyer can see you on Facebook and come back through Google to enquire, so the first ad often gets no credit for the order it started. Trace every sale you can to its ad, then judge the two channels together: what they sold against what they cost, combined.
Every tier of our fractional CMO and marketing team, for UK window and door companies doing £10m to £50m a year, comes with every sale traced back to its ad through your CRM and the sales stages sent back to Facebook. Here’s what it costs.
The whole account is written up, figure by figure, in the Eco Glaze Scotland case study. Read next: cost of sale for window and door companies, and how to grow a window and door company into new areas.
Why does Facebook need to know which leads bought?
Because it finds more of whatever you count. Count form-fills and it brings you form-fillers. Count sales and it goes looking for buyers.
What about sales that come by phone or through the showroom?
Whoever takes the call or meets them asks how they found you, and the answer goes on the lead, beside the ones from the ads.
Should we switch off an ad with no sales on its line?
Not on that alone. If its other numbers hold, it may be the ad that started a sale another one finished. Judge the account on total sold against total spend.
How long from the first ad to the first sale?
At Eco Glaze Scotland, 36 days. The first ad ran on 21 June 2026 and the first sale came in on 27 July.
